I was able to capture the feeling of a suspenseful, non-fiction book about the author's experiences in the Vietnam war as a dentist. I wanted the cover to have a feeling of Apocalypse Now with the impending doom of a battle. Using Photoshop and Corel Painter I layered images and effects.
